How
We Began:
|
Inspiration
often strikes suddenly, without warning. For
Mimi Cristall, Spay Is The Way founder, it came in the
form of a rescued runt Whippet named Macho Mouse,
whose zest for life was apparent with every
breath. While pets bring joy in many forms -
"The Mouse", as she was affectionately
known, was the epitome of joy itself. |
|

|
It took no more than the memory of this lively little
being to motivate Mimi to
convene the resources and create an organization that
gets to the heart of the homeless companion animal
problem - prevention of unwanted litters. Thus,
Spay Is The Way was born and is committed to providing
100% of the funds it raises to finance free
spay/neuter programs. Its
goal is to eliminate the possibility that a single
sweet face - like that of "The Mouse" - sits
waiting for a place to call home. Or, worse -
dies.
We're sure that
"The Mouse" would be proud. And we
know she's watching...
